WIC (Women Infant and Children) Website Organized by State
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
What is WIC Summed Up?
WIC helps families and single mother with food during pregnancy, and depending on whether or not you are breastfeeding you get food, formula, oatmeal, baby food, or a combination of these.
Below you will find the state’s main website link to WIC, it even includes the information to some tribes. From there, you will find the information about the program and how to apply.
If by chance you get denied, there is an appeal process. Be sure to try that incase, you get denied the first time.
