Looking back into the first six months of having my baby, I realized that if I was to ever have another baby, these would be the items I would definitely put on my baby registry. And of course, these items are beside the normal things you need like diapers, wipes, etc.
Fisher-Price Deluxe Kick ‘n Play Piano Gym
I have used this Deluxe Piano Gym since my son was a newborn. He is now 10 months old and still plays with the piano. For $39.88 this is by far the best bang for the buck item you could want on your baby registry. It was perfect for tummy time, it was perfect for him to try and grab the items, he loved looking at the lights on the piano, to actually crawling to the piano, to sitting and playing with the piano. You will use this for months and will not be disappointed.
OXO Tot Dishwasher Basket
I don’t know about you but cleaning baby bottles and pumps and everything else takes up a lot of time if you do all of it by hand. This was a complete game changer! Everything always comes out so nice and clean, with hardly any work on my end except for taking it apart and rinsing before putting it in the dishwasher. There is even a separate area to keep the nipples upright!
This Baby Lounger was a miracle for me to get any sleep. As a single mother, I co-slept with my son, because it was the only way I was able to get any amount of sleep. But, I never really truly slept worried about whether or not I was going to accidentally roll over on him. This lounger actually gave me a great night’s rest (besides my son waking up to eat ) It is raised on the edges, and when you put it next to you, it’s as if someone is sleeping right next to you. The worry of rolling over on him completely left. If you plan on co-sleeping with your baby and want to have peace of mind, then definitely get you one of these!
SkyGenius Battery Operated Clip Mini Fan
Sky Genius Battery Operated Clip Mini Fan is amazing for the summer or if you live in Florida like me! It has a rechargeable battery, so even if it runs out of juice you can charge it anywhere or can attach it to a power bank. But that is not the best part. The best part is that this fan actually works surprisingly well for the size it is. You can feel it a couple feet away from you on its highest setting. My son is naturally always warm, so being able to take this everywhere has definitely helped him be more comfortable when we are out and about.
Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker
Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Rocker helped me out so much! I needed something to set my son in when he was younger so I could cook or clean or even easily take it outdoors. He loved the vibrating seat. He fell asleep in it so many times. There is two recline positions and items for him to try and reach. The best part is now that he is older he still loves sitting in the chair and gets in there all by himself.
CozyBubs Swaddle Blankets Set
Everybody always tells you to get several receiving blankets, and honestly, I barely used them, but I have used these swaddle blankets for literally everything. They have been used as a swaddle blanket, an actual blanket, a car seat cover, and even as a burp cloth! I am not a hand wash type of woman, so yes these have with being washed over and over in the washer. These blankets are still in amazing condition and I still use them every week!
Bellababy Double Electric Breast Feeding Pumps
If for whatever reason you are unable to get a pump through your insurance, this is the best pump. It is cheap and it honestly worked better than the Medela machine I got through my insurance. It has different settings to choose from and is actually quite comfortable.
Multi-Use Nursing Cover Breastfeeding Scarf
This is another item that is great for the baby registry. This was perfect when I was breastfeeding in public. It was also perfect as a cover for the car seat. I bought two of them so that way I had one for a car seat cover and one in my diaper bag for when I was breastfeeding. Since then covid started so I have not been able to test how well it does with the shopping cart, but I can only assume it will work great too!
Graco Pack ‘n Play Newborn DLX Playard
This Graco Pack ‘n Play has been a game-changer. It was perfect for his room when he was a newborn because it came with the bassinet and the diaper changer. It also had space at the bottom to store blankets, clothes, etc. The best part is that it is so easy to take down and put back together that you can take it anywhere and your baby already feels comfortable with it.

The Oxo Tot dishwasher rack was one of my all time favorite items. Oftentimes it was over stuffed. lol
Agree with the kick and play gym! And we still use our pack and play on trips at 14 months old. Awesome selections!
